On Friday 11th April we held a non-uniform day in school where each student donated £1 for the privilege of not wearing the school uniform for one day.

This was in aid of Hornsea Inshore Rescue who are currently raising funds to build a new boat house for their rescue boat and equipment on the seafront in Hornsea.

Crew members came to school to talk to students and brought their rescue boat to show them at lunchtime. Some students even had the opportunity to climb aboard!

We raised £943.00 on the day and have presented a cheque to the Hornsea Inshore Rescue crew.
