All classes have homework
set regularly which is meaningful to the scheme of
work and learning objectives; this homework is not
always in written form.
Staffs ensure that homework is recorded by students
in their student planner.
Staff keep records of homework set and student responses.
If students fail to complete homework staff may send
a letter home once a half term to inform parents.
It is not permitted to place students in detention
for failure to complete homework.
The Head of Faculty carries out periodic checks making
sure this policy is being implemented by all staff.
