| This unit allows pupils
to read a contemporary novel in its entirety. Written
through the eyes of an autistic child, this novel
enables pupils to develop an empathy with the main
character. It comprises cross curricular activities,
emotive language, persuasive writing, puzzle solving
& detective genre work. |

| This complete novel unit is written
in dual narrative voice. It looks at the lives of
the homeless in London. It is used as a stimulus for
informative writing through newspapers, authorial
voice analysis & detective genre work. |
