Key Stage 3
Geography is compulsory in Years 7-9. In each year students attend 3x1hr lessons per fortnight.
In Years 7&8 the subject is taught in mixed ability tutor groups.
In Year 9 students are taught in ability groupings.
In Year 7 classes are taught Geography, History and R.E. by the same teacher who m ay be from one of the other departments. There is close collaboration to ensure the quality of teaching.

Key Stage 4
Geography is one of the most popular optional subjects. It is taught in mixed ability groups.
We consistently achieve very good GCSE results (please see GCSE section)
Students study for 5x1hr lessons per fortnightly cycle.

AS/A2 Level
Geography is a very popular subject and has achieved very high grades (see AS/A2 sections). Students are taught by 3 teachers to maximise our staff specialities. At AS Level there are 9 lessons per fortnight and at A2 level 8.
