One in five children
experience some degree of learning difficulties
at some point in their school years.
The Learning Support Department at Hornsea
School is here to identify and support these
needs through direct intervention and by close
liaison with the curriculum areas. The LS
team is made up of well qualified and experienced
professionals who welcome discussion with
parents/carers at all times and can be contacted
at school.
Some pupils may need to have special access
arrangements for examinations and we will
make these arrangements.

support reading and spelling at home; if you
