Benchmarking the use of A4L
Both student and staff voice should be considered when benchmarking the use and impact of Assessment for Learning within your department. Use the links below to access resources to help you with this.

Student Voice Survey
A good starting point when identifying where your department is in terms of assessment for learning is via student voice. What are the students views on the use of assessment for learning in your curriculum area? Take a look at the pupils views survey for a starting point. It is recommended that after implementing assessment for learning strategies that this is repeated to identify the impact these have had on learning and teaching.

Student Voice Discussion Groups
One effective method of gathering student views is by using small group discussions. This document provides a stimulus for discussion. Consider recording student views and sharing these with your department team.
