What is Mind Mapping?

This type of software can be used for whole-class brainstorming where ideas are linked together rather than merely listed, and for individual students to construct concept maps from which you can diagnose misconceptions. You can also provide students with a prepared diagram that shows linked ideas visually, and then ask them to add notes about each item in their own words, which pop up when they want to refer to them.
