Any students who are unhappy with their English Language result should see Mrs Hilton, the Head of English, in the first instance. There will usually be a small group who want to resit. You will be encouraged to look again at your coursework folder to see if you can make any improvements, but you are allowed to re-enter the same coursework if you wish. An English teacher will be assigned to the group who will meet with you once a week. In this time you will study the pre-release booklet and prepare for the written exams. It is possible to resit in the November of the same year, and for this set of exams the same pre-release booklet is used as in the summer. If you are resitting in the next summer entry there will be a new pre-release booklet to study.
