| What Will I Learn? |

Unit 3: Advanced Portfolio
This provides the opportunity to extend and develop the practical skills you acquired during Unit 1. A large selection of practical briefs working in a range of different mediums are available for you to select from. Naturally, many candidates op for an area of particular personal inters here.
Unit 4: Critical Perspectives in Media
This examination tests your knowledge and understanding of media concepts and critical debates. The first section of the examination requires you to reflect and evaluate on pieces that you have produced yourself. In the second section the focus moves to contemporary debates with media studies. You will be guided through a detailed case study of a particular issue, allowing you to specialise in areas of personal interest as well as engaging in wider media topics. This final unit is a chance to pull all you media knowledge together and to really shine! |
